The critical zone begins at the bottom of the groundwater body up to the treetop. My research aims to improve our understanding about water and water vapor transport within the critical zone. Especially processes at the interface between solid, water and water vapor  are interesting to me. I strive to find the relevant links between nano and macro scale.
